    On the Inside

On the inside there was confusion, I'm wondering why am I here?
For a family member that is suppose to love me and be very dear,

Has done nothing but ruined the innocence in me,
So the good I am suppose to share the world will never see.

Day in and day out when the lights are out and the snoring begins,
Your voice I can hear creeping through the air like a burst of wind,

I'm shaking on the inside hoping to not hear those special creepy words,
"lets go downstairs and pull down your clothes".

The tears began to flow like a river wide,
But that does not stop you from robbing my pride.

There is silence on your behalf and a gasp of pain on mine,
You do not care in your mind you are perfectly fine.

I beg you to stop with dispair but you give me more,
For the hurt you give you perceive as a score.

But you are wrong infact you lost not won,
I let that burden go it weighed on like a ton.

Of bricks that is on my heart and soul,
But I am overcoming that and reaching my goals.

On the inside there was confusion and I'm not wondering I know why I am here,
For you were a family member that was suppose to love me and be dear.

    But you failed....
    You are confused....
