    Free Spirit

     

     

    Oh! to be a free spirit

    For the world is your oyster you know

    Your presence is seen and felt each day

    Wherever you may go

    Nobody can take what you hold dear

    Loving heart and a mind that's free

    Of acrimony and vitriol

    Mistress of your destiny

    Never afraid to state your case

    And hope solutions are close at hand

    Help is available from your friends

    Always ready to listen and understand

    You pretend and see and want what you are

    Maybe worry and touch and dream

    Aim for the ultimate goal in your life

    Though sometimes impossible it may seem

    Now if you add all these things together

    And I'm sure you are going to

    The most important thing to remember forever

    Is that you will always be you.
