Goodbye

    Goodbye

    Dreams suspended in air
    Nothing seems the same
    But most of the time
    I really don't care
    You get mad.
    Dew fell off my lips
    I sit here thinking that
Love left the lips of lovers long ago
    Wondering why the wind whips
    Wise words against my back
And trying to tell time to stop and turn around
Seeking someone else's sorrow through solid glass
    Past present and now
Holding on to high hopes of
    Distant distracted dreams--
    Never wanted it this way.
                              Goodbye.

This was really good. I especially liked the line Seeking someone else's sorrow through solid glass. THat's wonderful imagery, hun.

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
