    Poetic Destruction

Fire tormented my soul for the longest time-

and not it's time for me to bend the light-

    Fuck the spectrum.

Speaking Redrum to completely confused children.

A few always seem to catch on that the wrong moment and slip

    through the cracks of indecision

holding on to a grand illusion,

knocked back my the second wind of hate and freed.

    Tomorrow we may never see,

Maybe you and I were never meant to be.

But yet, I continue to grow

stronger knowing that all my fears still exist.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
