Gracefully Bound

Gracefully Bound

Greatest love there ever could be

I sometimes question why you love me

I was covered in sin

From my head to my feet

But that’s not what you see when you look at me

A beautiful child of God

Yes, that’s me

With the spirit of Christ living within me

The world rejected me

And said I wouldn’t amount to much

But Jesus, you have the power

To change that with just one touch

Your kind words

Tell a different story

Of how I would be used to bring you glory

Witnessing to others

About the Jesus that I love

And how he reigns down blessings from above

How he intercedes daily on my behalf

Giving me yet another chance

Being saved from his wrath

To humble myself

And submit to his will

So that in me and through me

His prophecy is fulfilled

As you step forward

And take your place

Always remember that we are bound by his love

And saved by his grace
