    How to Pray

    How to Pray

    As I kneel to pray

So many thoughts run through my mind

    How do I start

What do I ask for this time

Should I open up my heart

to God and keep it real

Or should I pray for families

and the sick to be healed

Do I tell Him I failed

    and that I've sinned

Should I ask God to cleanse

    and make me whole again

Should I pray that the unsaved is led to Christ

Or do I ask for the power to fight the good fight

Should I pray for the homeless

and that the hungry are fed

Or should I pray for our politicians

by which our country is led

    Suddenly there's silence

and a voice from up above

    Saying Pray for them all

because they deserve my unconditional love

Yes...without holiness no man will see God? Ever? Only the holy go into this kingdom of our Father. John 3:3...but more important is John 3:5 We only enter through the washing of the water of the Word? The word of God is the entrance to providing us the seperation from the flesh the world and the Devil. Do not be decieved only 'a few' will enter heaven.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
