Poem Commentary

WAS IN THE COUNTY JAIL THINKING OF MY OWN LIFE. HOW IT REFLECTS WITH MY DREAMS.

"HAVE YOU EVER MET DEATH BEFORE"

HAVE YOU EVER MET DEATH BEFORE?
go ahead look straight into the valley of darkness of death and see what is instore,
do you know what your soul is for?
it is all if you are truely being dared,
when you see it with your eyes you will be scared!
you will have death creepn inside your dreams at night,
the evilness numbs you cold; you cant even stand to fight,
even if your soul was sold; nothing can stop- it not even an armor of a royal knight,
these dreams are called a dream within a dream,
when you wake from one and still in another; trying to get the hell out with a loud but hollow scream,
all you see and feel are bloody tears running down your face making up a stream,
the evilness of death seems so real; you will have no strength,
you know you cant fight death within that length,
you start to pray inside these wicked dreams to the all mighty saint!
your knees weakn and you start to faint,
what did you do with the smell of death?
i bet you held your breath; when you met the evilness of death!
especially seeing crying souls in the vally of darkness of death!
death enter's your dreams; becauze your soul is what it fiends!
your soul will guranteed to have its last screams; when being pulled out of your body form of a human being,
within your dreams and real life; you just had your last breath,
death welcomes you into the valley of darkness of death,
tell me have you met death before?

Man, pretty morbid. It's haunting but the thing is, death awaits us all and then, we just walk on through.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
