    HE HAS RISEN! (JESUS)

as evening approached, cold breeze spread all over the land,
the one whom they called "King of the Jews" hung from a tree.

    OH what a death!
He was found without sin yet he bored the sins of the world...

without a lawyer....without a defense team...without a word he went willingly to be slained like a lamb about to be slaughtered.

As He hung from the tree,
His last words were "IT IS FINISHED"

    What has finished?

...your years of sickness has ended, by His stripes you are healed,
...your years of darkness has ended, light has come,
...your years of poverty has ended, a time of plenty has arrived,

Do not be afraid; you will no longer suffer shame, no weapon forged against you will prevail.

As they laid Him in a tomb,
the guards stood watch all day and all night around a dead man's grave,
thinking His body would be stolen.

All at once they fell away-
    without a chance to fight.

for Jesus had returned to life!
    darkness gave way!
    halleujah, for HE HAS RISEN!
He is no longer in the grave!
don't go to the tomb for it is empty!

My sins was pardoned on the cross,
He took the punishment for me and paid the ultimate price of redemption.
For He bore the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors.

For now He is seated in heaven at the right hand of GOD!

ARISE, SHINE FOR YOUR LIGHT HAS COME AND THE GLORY OF THE LORD RISES UPON YOU!

GREATER LOVE HAS NO-ONE THAN THIS, THAT HE LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS!
