    Help

A girl sits in her room

    Staring at the ceiling

    Wondering why her life

    Is breaking into pieces

On the outside she looks happy

So no one will be alarmed

But on the inside she's crying

    Slowly her heart is ceasing

    Slowly her heart is dying

She looks for a way out

A way to escape the pain

A way to erase the memories from inside her brain

She's been hurt so many times, it doesn't add up

She's been fed so many lies, she's tired and fed up

    Her father has left her

    Her mother doesn't care

Her friends are backstabers who are never there

Never there to help her in her times of need

They are only filled with envy and greed

She can't take anymore, she's about to blow up

She won't stand for it, its all to much

She has no one to turn to

No one to show her the way

No one to encourage her to look forward to the next day

But there is someone who secretly cares

Someone who will not abandon her, and will always be there

Someone she can trust, who will not steer her wrong

Someone who will catch her when she decides to fall

But until she realizes who that someone is

She will stay in her room

    Staring at the ceiling

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
