Horse

A horse is the proudest conquest of man. A symbol of wealth, honor, power… and of unheard things. But a horse is much more then a symbol. A horse is mans most loyal friend. A horse today carries a rider to their victory for a trophy, just as it carried a warrior, thousands of years ago, to the victory for their lives. Yet even if it was not to victory it was riding, it rode on. Its mane gently waving and flapping in the wind, the pattern of its feet roughly stroking the ground. As if she was dancing with the rider as her partner. A horse’s loyalty will take the rider to where the sun shines on your face, where the fields are as green as you have never seen, and where it simply feels like home.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
