    Humans

    We humans live our lives
Eyes closed, mouth shut, hearts sealed
We live each passing day with berried hate
    That's within our souls
With eyes closed, mouth shut, hearts sealed
We miss the beauty that lies within our reach
    Our minds can't look beyond,
    We can't hear
    We can't speak
    We can't love
The pain we put on others an are self's
Is what will drive us insane
    And
Will be the death of us humans

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
