I Have Seen A Flower Cry

Today As I awoke,it took me what seemed like an eternity to get out of bed. I spent most of this time staring at the light of the world from behind my eyelids. As I lay there in my bed i could feel a drop in the temperature and a sharp decline in light. I felt a great sadness. To my surprise it was time for myself to advance to my lecture hall, so I forced myself out of the mode of sleep I was in.As I opened my eyes I am able to peer outside to the world."I-It seems so gray" I remarked in a very sad and lonely tone, for it was gray, gray as in the world had lost all it's color. It also felt melancholy and cold, not cold as in temperature but cold as in heartless ,mean and obdurate.I quickly shake myself to my senses, I know time is almost up and my professor despises latecomers.I sluggishly jump into my clothes wondering what the day will bring. As I am almost prepared, I look outside towards the heavens and wonder if the angels are going to cry. Then it started to rain.
