I Love You Mom!

I Love You Mom!

She didn't meet me in the hospital...
on the day I was born.
She was home with my brother...
Likely tired and worn.

A couple months passed by...
before the phone gave a ring,
"We have a baby girl
who will make your heart sing".

She gathered up her brood...
her dinner plans blown...
"We're going to get your sister
she'll be our very own".

That one little day surely changed her life...
a son and daughter she now claimed,
and as for yours truly,
she gave me a name!

I now had a home...
a loving mother and father...
and the best part of all,
she chose ME as HER daughter.
