    I Think About You

    I think about you

    In day and night

    When I study

    My books are white

    What ever I look at

    I cannot see

    But you on sight

Old dreams are still on show

    Lots of fun

    Fire and light

    Old remembrance of (we)

    How we were free

    Everything was right

    I always do

    Think about you

How far we have grown to be?

    Why you've become so quiet

    Neither the music I hear,

    Nor the angelic voice

What do you do on your own?

    Please come back!

    Or even write!

    How long do you think

    I can wait

    Or I can fight?

    Loneliness is hard

    Looking at the last scene

    The world is sinking

    Though the ropes are tight!

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
