The Awakening

The Awakening

There came a shapeless cloud of hope

Where clearly, hope had long dried out

Nothing but silent echoes I could feel

Right there within the walls of doubt

The shade-less shadows of my fears

So transparent beyond any expectations

Often reflecting the locked-within tears

Releasing tons of steamy imaginations

Alone as ever there I stood in total vain

Swallowing my future .. Sucking my past

Feeling the scratches of my pains

Trying to forgive and forget them fast

The shadowy dreams still haunt me nuts

The nightmares rather pleased to remain

Awakened each day by sounds of quietness

Carved in my skull with a bloody stain

I need to realize .. before the turn of dawn

I need to feel alive .. yet keep time still

A day bygone is a past-day long gone

Where from there we descend down-hill
