    • its been so long sense i have been on here. the last time i was on here i think i was like 14. omg. i cant believe i tried to forget about poetry. so happy i came to my senses because it's the best way to express your self.

    If You Were Here

    Everybody's life depended on you.
    You were our only hope of a better life.
    The family stopped arguing,
    Mommy stop crying,
    Marcellous went back to school.
    I just knew life would be perfect.
    When it was time for you to be here.
    I guess it really wasn't.
    When the doctors said you died at birth,
    My heart fell from my chest to the floor.
    I just know I would have you to talk to.
    You were not going to be just my sister,
    You would of been a friend.
    Although I would of been 14 years older then you, You would of been my bestie.
    Now i'm stuck with the words" If you Were Here..."

    Once again, a beautiful piece... and i can relate... i lost my daughter 13 yrs ago, and to this day, i miss her dearly... she still means so much to me but i know the Lord has her in a better place with Him... i have 3 sons and i yearn for her every day of my life but i've learned not to fault God and to just live with a part of life, and that's death... even so young... i hope that some of my pieces can inspire and strengthen you...
