    I'LL NEVER TELL

I'll never tell what you did
How you stole my innocence when I was a kid
I'll never tell what you said
Making me wish everyday that I was dead
I'll never tell how you lied
To keep my tears bottled deep inside
I'll never tell how you smiled
At the age of fourteen I had your child
I'll never tell of the vicious assault
Making me feel that it was somehow my fault
I'll never tell of the violence too
How you traded my fear for sex with you
I'll never tell how you made me sick
Emotionally, Spiritually and Physically; take your pick
I'll never tell how you pulled that knife
When I finally found the courage to take back my life
I'll never tell for 38 years
My heart screams aloud and no one hears
But I can't keep silent not one more day
Because with my daughter, you've had your way
Now I want to tell in any way that I can
If it will keep one victim out of your hand
"A device to prevent sexual assault", that would surely sell
But until that invention comes along, I'll always tell !

this is torturing in the beginning, summed up with a genuine mass of emotion to stop the pain by speaking what your heart must have whispered for so long and to take control so that that evil does not happen again to another you love. idk if this is about you in reality, buts its amazing and brought tears to my eyes. keep up the great writes!

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
