    I'm scared of you

    love!
    I'm scared of you...
    scared of your many definitions
the way some talk about you and sexual positions..
the way you speak is different, for actions are your diction
people's ears perk when your mentioned,
i heard you never talk, but listen...

    love! I'm scared of you...
have you ever had hate glare at you?
people will write songs about you
how the world cant live without you
but the one important thing they miss is how to...
    love.
    I'm scared of you.

    I doubt you.
even though it's said you never fail
I saw a trail of roses that led to a bed of scented smells
cheating man and cheating woman claim their marriage stays stale..
juicy rumors love company, so stranger "pray tell".

well, i heard you get hate mail
gays and straights share your spell
you tend to last the first six months past any wedding bell
    to some you are chocolate
    some say that you prevail
since there's not enough of you, there exists a hell.

    love, I'm scared of you.
but i recall you having moments..
of visiting me as a child, when i had bouts of loneliness
i saw a homeless man receive a sleeping bag in your name,
he slept warmer that night, outside doors of soup kitchens stay open late...

whats exciting for the future is you own it..when hearts break
I heard you stand at the door and knock, a personality trait
is that you wait, and though you sometimes fail in what you do,...
there's nothing you can say that wont be said where there's good food...

so love, i take back being scared cause as you demonstrated,
your not concerned about status, so in fact I'm fascinated.

This is cool too I like the way you ended it with a different opinion. Sometimes fear is a facination.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
