    July Monsoon

    Pitter Patter Pitter Patter
    Drops fall in the night
    Safe at home
    Youngins tucked in tight

    Swoosh Swoosh
    The wind blows soft
    The mighty eagle
    sleeps aloft

    Drip Drip
    The sweet sound
    Of rain from the roof
    To the ground

    Howl Howl
    The wolf cries cold
    Hunger filled and lonely
He wonders what the night will hold

    Flash Flash
    The lightning strikes
    The mighty god
    Throws down his spikes

    Boom Boom
    The thunder roars
    So terrifying
    The eagle stands and soars

    Hush Hush
The baby sleeps curled up in fleece
    Queitly they drift away
    Julys Monsoon at peace

Not bad. Interesting structure. Keep at it. Describing what you see

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
