    Just Listen

My every thought humbles my spirit . My mind takes over the words I tend to speak. Like an animal in the wild, my heart leaps out at the first sign of affection. To hold back is false and insecure. But what if it fails? Do I go on, do I change direction or pretend it's not there?

It burns my heart not to have all I want, and my mind seems not to disagree, but tells it not to fear or walk away. The reciprocation is strong and will not lie. It will remain as long as it is wanted

This is beautiful. Let your desire burn and flame: better to see the world through desire's light.

nice reflection, good use of visualization, real potential for greatness if was typed in cadence to help follow the scheme

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
