    Lesbian Haircut*

*This poem's name was longer than this website allowed. It's actually:

Underwater, In A Clear Ocean, Looking Upwards At the Sun, Near the Surface, Holding Hands with Hitler

(He's a man of wax, and he talks as such)
Oye, you woman, you are my subconscious, my vega psychedelic,
And I want to make you delicate,
    As white as kite,
And I can honestly say I'll never leave your side, because I'll be living on your hip.

    (Ya)

Her teeth were screaming dentistry, mine were bathing in her language as she said, "Ya."
I closed my eyes and slept on her hip.
She had revenge caught in her teeth.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
