    Poem Commentary

My grand mother spoke to me once, she said, YOU CAN'T BEAT GOD GIVING

    LIFE

Everyday I get up to go get that table spoon
Everyday I see people coming to take that table spoon away
Everyday I get up to go get that table spoon
Everyday I see people coming to take that table spoon away
So what did I learn, let see?
Everyday I get up to go get  that table spoon
    Everyday I GIVE it away
Everyday I get up to go get that table spoon
Everyday I get up to GIVE it away
                                                                       P.S.
                                                                       I GIVE AND I GIVE

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
