Lilies of love in my heart

Lilies of love in my heart

Lilies of love in my heart

In this cold winter

Lilies are frozen

With other flowers

And with other trees

I cannot see them dancing

I cannot see the blooming

They are buried

Under the white snow

Where no one can see them

Nor no one can hear them

Yet lilies in my heart

Are still fresh

They are pretty

In day and night

They are blooming

And dancing

As they do in spring,

For you have given me your love

To fertilize my heart

To let lilies of love grow

Stronger and charmer

For ever and ever

Now lilies are there

With your memories

They are dancing in my heart

With tranquility and joy

They soothe my heart

And tell me your love

That has nurtured

The land of my heart

To remember you

And to keep you

Always in my heart

Because you are

Like sweet lilies

Who always bloom

And always dance

In my heart

Lilies of love

Will never freeze in my heart

They are planted for you

Your love has watered them

In my barren heart

Where lilies of love

Are growing and dancing

With your love to remember

Lilies of love are your love

They are to stay

In my heart for ever and ever

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
