    Love Dance

    {{{This one is to my now ex, Mark, who will forever reside in that special place in my heart. I wrote it right after we had sex and the orgasm was so intense, I cried. A first for me. When I finally gathered myself, I looked into his eyes and simply said, "I have words to write." And in one sitting- no editing, I created this....}}}

    You and I have a slight tendency

    to become fixated on each other's stares:

    Pupils, irises corneas, lenses passively dart

    left and right between the other's intense portals.

    You and I have this incredible knack

    for finding ourselves in our very own synchronicity:

    Arms, legs, lips, tongues lapping around

    the dual inner core like the flames of a campfire.

    You and I have this uncanny ability

    to continually attempt the act of occupying the same space:

    Bodies, minds, hearts, souls forever compressed

    until our goal, however impossible in reality, is finally fulfilled.

    Wow! very passionate and deep. You can feel the completion of two souls finding one another within just a brief moment in time. Which now inspires me to write a poem on just that subject. lol! Thank you for not only sharing but inspiring. Nice use of words, creating a pleasant visual.

    If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
