    Mental War

I don't want to think this,
    And yet, yes, i do,
Smiles envelope me he cannot miss,
    Although somehow his eyes do,

    For they believe the lies,
That spilled vivaciously from my lips,
My brutal longing has strong ties,
    It seethes greedily within,

    All my energy is depleted,
When i try to keep myself away,
My old feelings were not ruminated-they have retreated,
    Attempting to keep at bay,

    Insistent pounding in my head,
    Bruising me with obsesities,
    Now what i dread,
    Is transmuting into reality,

    Old memories make me glow,
A new order brings desponding sorrow,
I know i'e lost this fight,
My soul yearns day and night,

    ...I will always love him

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
