mommy and daddy
why do mommy and daddy fightthey do this every single night
they both get so angry
they start to throw stuff and hit me
i'm afraid one night they will kill eachother
and then all that will be left of our family will be my sisters and brothers
i do not let the little ones see my fear
so that they will remain strong and shed no tears
we did not pick this life
we just put up with all its strife
and i will stay strong
no matter what seems to come along
