    MOMMY SAID

Do you ever feel like taking off your shoes
and walking barefoot through a field of grass
    but you are afraid
cause mommy said you might step on glass

Do you ever feel like jumping on your bed
    but you are afraid
cause mommy said you might hit your head

    Mommy said, mommy said
    well mommy's dead
see fell down with her own bullet in her head

    Mommy wasn't very nice
but she followed her own advice
now shes chillin on a bed of ice

    So walk with me
    barefoot through the cool grass
    don't worry
I'll carry you if you step on glass

    Just relax
and forget about your broken past
    forget what mommy said
    your still here
    and mommy's dead

Oh, wow. This is an awesome piece! It's heartbreaking, and uplifting at the same time. Whether it's intentional or not, it's brilliant

you have very clearly been through hell and back.....i feel for you and i hope you can see take the compassion i have for you and give it to someone else

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
