Moon lit path
Driving down this moon lit path,I stopped and pondered on a log,
With eyes so blue and crystal clear,
I wondered to myself what I would do without you,
And I remembered you once said you loved me dear.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.
Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
