    MOON

I lay here and wonder what
The moon thinks looking down on us,
All the strife and war and hate,
    Society served upon a plate,
Or is it mindless to what goes on,
And bows it's head with each new dawn?

Beautifully written with great imagery and flow. You bring up good questions and emotions. Keep writing and thanks for sharing.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
