Moonlight/Sunlight

Moonlight reveals, the sight of the soul
while sight in the sun judges ice cold
cold like the night, turns our thoughts black as coal
insight fills the heart with white light
delivered from fear, knowing wrong from right...
If I were to take your hands in mine
Make you warm, and feel divine
Both your eyes slumber, enclosed in an embrace
listless with bliss now your head is spinning
worries dissolve, not leaving a trace...
The world is now still, you've learned some thing new
That had once upon a time evaded you
And *poof* your soul search is through...

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
