    It joy to my heart because of tha lessons I have learned
    But it also brings sorrow to my soul from tha bridges I have burned
    Lookin for a way out when I should have jus turned around
    Thinking like every other guy doin anything to stay in bound
    Running a race I'll Neva win because my past has got ahead
    Takin ova my body like a virus that's starting to spread
    I take my life and lay it down and wait for things to change
    How can I truly get ahead when everything seems so far outta range
