    Motionless

I am lost and aimlessly searching, but what I am looking for I am not quite sure. My path crosses many others not knowing where they might lead. All along I know you have been guiding me. Where I am headed and what is my next step pierce my mind. I am awaiting revelation to come and uncertain that I will find peace. The journey continues and my world is spinning out of control. There is a future but it always seems just out of reach. I put myself out there to test the waters, but I don’t know if it is safe to jump in. I used to trust my heart and now it feels scattered across the universe, searching for a new direction. I am motionless, frozen in time and space. Waiting, waiting, just waiting!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
