move up move on

Arrogance of the teacher falls heavy upon the man
The emotions making him want to raise a hand,
In defiance he ponders the act of demand
In the end resolve is the only plan,
I whisk this time, quickly it will past
For when I'm gone ignorance will be left in class,
And that time could not move too fast
It is life I yearn for not this miserable cast,
They are many and I am one
stuck out of place like an owl in the sun,
In my patience the battle is won
from their decisions I now will attempt at fun

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
