My Little Mouse ( a poem to my Son)

I Seen you the other night,,
Your Smile So big, Your face So Bright..
You Scurried all over the Gymnasium Floor,
I Wanted to hold you, & nothing more..
You Started out Not feel well...
      You had An icky Tummy,
But then you Started Eating Candy,
Then looked at me & said "Yummy!"
From your Goofy laugh, to your Goofy way..
You made me smile, you made my day!
AND it was my birthday, & you did it again..
with your silly face, you mde me grin.
Joey, No matter what you Do...
I thank God everyday for you.
You Came from heaven, You Came from Love....
You Are My Angel sent from above.
And Now you live, In someone else's house.....
      But for me My Joey,
     You;ll Always be
     My little Mouse.
    ...................................
I love you now & always, Mouse.
No amount of eternity would ever change that.
May God keep you safe now & forever.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
