My Mother Lied

My Mother Lied

From childhood to grown woman many things had changed. Like the words from my mother on finding a man who would love me forever. She told me be true to myself. That if I was good and decent then life would be good. She told me of love and kindness from that man.  Be a good, loving and faithful woman and he will find me.

Some where between child & women I found she had lied, there are no prince charmings and that love is just a word that people forgot what it meant over the passing of time.

Mother is gone now, why did you lie. You could love them, be there form them and they tell you they love you no more.  When I needed you mother, you were gone.  No kisses on my hair or making me feel better.  Just wanting to die so I could be with you.
