New Year, New Life
As I reflect this New Years Eveon my journey through this life,
I remember all the obstacles,
the worry and the strife.
And then i recall the blessings
that God has given me
My health, my job, my home
and protection over my family
I contemplate all the mistakes
I've made in ignorance and fear;
Then I pray that God won't
let me repeat them again next year.
I pray for strength and guidance
and forgiveness on this night;
I pray He'll draw me nearer
and in this new year grant me new life!
