    Not being perfect

    Day in, and day out…

Almost every hour, I think of you….

What’s wrong with me, just me?

    What don’t you see?

I envy her, because she gets you.

I envy her for the way you look at her, touch, and caress her.

I want to be in her shoes, in your arms….

I want to be held by you forever.

Why am I not enough for you?

Is there something that I am lacking?

No, that’s not it, because I am me,

And that is all I can be.

No, I am not perfect, or perfect for you,

But, I am me, and just me, is just enough for me to do.
