    not normal

A mother cries at the site of her new born baby son,
she cries when she hears that he may never run.
She is broken down by the loss of life that he may never see,
for he will never know normal, nor will he ever be.
As time goes by and he grows up he finds he over comes,
the fact that doctors are sometimes wrong and he starts to run.
Through life and love he is the center of attention,
and yet not a nice word annyone can mention.
They stare him down and run him over still he stands tall
although he struggles to his feet he will never take cover.
From the judgemental glances or second thoughts of who they think he is,
He knows that now's the time to run through life, a hit or miss.
To hit the ground and miss his chance to become who he may,
the suffering that he sees, will he give up? nay!
He has lost the chance at a normal life but yet he still can smile.
because he know how to servive evey single trial.
Corey Hill is the name of this son and i am talkin about me,
this is my daily life step into my life and see.

thank you. i know that i cant complain but have to deal with more than most

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
