    O LONELY HEART

    O LONELY HEART

O lonely heart broken in two

Where is the love that is meant for you?

It is a heart made of gold,

Made to be brave, strong and bold

Along came fate and had its sway,

And changed this heart from gold to clay.

Is there no heart in this world so stray?

    To know this heart anyway

There seems no heart that would dare

To love this heart that’s made to care.

This heart is mine, it was meant to shine

Like showers of rain tear drops fell in course of time.

Its amazing how this heart beats for me

While long ago it should have ceased to be.

I know that I will meet a heart

Who will truly of me be a part

It will change this heart from clay to gold

Once more this heart will be strong and bold.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
