Odium

You say that you hurt...You say you bleed..
But it's an addiction that you feed-

Dwelling in rails of denial..while misery
                hides behind your smile...

You've  brought on a new you..
                   putred, undevoted and patheticaly askew-

To think -you were someone I held true..
now a traitor to everything we grew-

           Burning rush consumes you in..
never to know where to begin-

What used to be your condescending glee..
life has folded over you -
                       ignoring your faint pleas....

Now what you crave and desire most...
                                  is to be free

Nice work. Very cryptically placed. Freedom is always such a complex promise when the personal baggage weighs you down. Nice work. Thanks!

A perfect poetic scream: screaming truth, pain, and lost love, with all of the creative forces behind you.

Here is the poem that works! This one says it sooo much more powerfully than Sinister Vortex. This one is a ten!

It's great a heavy burden has left you after writing this special poem. "Sting" sang it best .. "If you love someone set them free" *________* Great write. 10

Very nice poem. "Now what you crave and desire most is to be free" is a great ending for the poetic journey provided by a very good poet
