Once More In The Valley Of Death

In remembernce of my old regiment who fought
at the battle of the light brigades

Once more in the valley to re-enact,
    The light brigades biggest blunder.
Six hundred men all dressed as then,
To the sound of horses thunder.

The original bugle from that day,
Once more spat out the charge.
    Sabres rattled through the vines,
    Where guns laid down barrage.

A tribute to the men, who fought,
So brave they were that day.
For all who rode must have known,
With lives they'd have to pay.

One hundred and fifty years to day,
    This battle raged and thundered.
Pray not let us forget those souls,
    The noble six hundred!
