    Pain 3

I have been shunned and cast off by those I know
    Off into the hazy blue
My gifts do they return as if in a hearse
As if to accept them would be a curse

My misery is one after another
Oh, woe is he who has no brother
My heart I wish to rip it from its hiding place
So its pain never me will chase

What is the worth of what we call love
If it only destroys every dove
It for me shall never be
Else I cast my body into the sea
    -Tam al’Meir
