I have been writing song/poems for 18 years now. I have set a goal of 100 songs per year...works for me. I am always looking for inspiration and ideas each day~ I am also open do different strategies for songwriting. I always start with a title then go from there...I use songwriting as a kind of therapy in this crazy world of which we live today. I also collect vinyl record albums and have an unbelieveable amount sooooo far- around 40,000! I have met a lot of musicians and seen tons of performances. I also have thousands of autographs and pieces of musical memorbilia. I have around 1800 poems that can easily be turned into songs...kinda like working with clay and forming a shape or using colors to paint a picture...I love it so much! I am glad to become a member of group such as this whereas I can improve my writing and in turn hopefully help others.....
