    Prayer

         Dear Lord I sit and pray tonight

    to bless my family and my sight

    watch me, guide me, throughout the next day

    and help me not from your word to stray.

    For you are the Father, and my best friend

    here from the start til the very end

    help me hear and carry what I should do

    until that one day, when i can walk beside you.

    Amen

    This is a very beautiful prayer. If it was written by you, then you truly have an excellent understanding of how important the Lord is to our everyday lives. It's more than stories from a thousand years ago. It's a whole way of thinking, seeing, and dealing with life. Excellent job. 10 from me...

    Im not a reglious man. Not to say I havent thought about it a lot in the past. This makes me feel like stepping further more towards that area. Very pleasant peom to read. great work.

    its nice to hear that it inspired you to feel that way
