    We are two but have one heart

          Time flies by when we're together

    and comes to a hault when we're apart

    having fun no matter the weather

    we are two but have one heart!

         In my thoughts and in my dreams

    you've showed me from the very start

    life is great and though it seems

    we are two but have one heart!

         Never felt so deeply before

    from your love I'll never depart

    I love you now and forever more

    we are two, and you have my heart!

    An excellently written poem. A great heart filled, poem. However, who has your heart, God, a friend or loved one ?? Help me out here, please. Thanks for sharing.

    i can see how you got confused as i read it over. my husband is who i was writing it about....my boyfriend at the time.

    Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
