    Robin Song

    Robin Song

I sat by my window late one eve, and
heard the song of a robin as it sang to me
Its song was of love and beauty so fair
That to leave my window I just wouldn’t dare
The robin soon left and returned to its flight
And I thought of you on this lonely black nite

    Very nice poem.I love it.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
