    The End

    The End

I have loved like no other, not like sister or brother
This love that I feel, is for you and no other
And this love that I give, and in my heart feel
Would break hearts of men, make them recklessly reel
But of all of the things that I’ve known in my life
To be in love alone, surely cuts like a knife
So I stand before you and know in my heart
That if left up to me, we never would part
And before you destroy me, by leaving you will
Take time to remember, our early love’s thrill
Because for me it was there, and will always be
Stronger than mountains, deeper than seas

Hey bro, pretty good poem. I wonder if it is an original. If so, I would like to hear more. I too have poems of this nature, but wonder about the security of exposing them. have any advice?

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
