    Runaway

    in this world of pain
"parents" are lookin for their slaves
    these slaves have ran away
to rid themselves of their pains
these "parents" hate these slaves more
and once these slaves are found are in more pain
they hate themselves and never run away again
    the "parents" yell and punch
thinking thats its all the slaves fault
    but really they should realize
that all this blame should be put on them!!!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
