Save Me

Adults say it wasn't real,
friends say get over it.
My therapist says,
I have to work through it.

What is it you may ask,
my love for him.
It haunts me in my sleep,
terrorizing my dreams.

Nothing will make him see,
what it is he did to me.
He made me fall for him,
and now I can't get out.

How could he do this,
just let me drop.
He won't even pick me up,
when it's all his fault.

So what do I do,
I sit and wait.
In hopes that,
He'll save me one day.
