scars have stories
her scars tell stories, sad stories to be precise. they involve beatings, heart breaks, abuse and deaths, she remembers each one as if they were special to her. the scars overflow her arms and legs, they sting but they keep her mind off the bad things. she could remember each one and why she has them. she hides them and takes care of them but no one knows about them...When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
